Today, Year 5 and 6 travelled by coach to the stunning Wintershall Estate in Guildford, Surrey to watch the epic open-air performances about the life of Jesus.
‘The Life of Christ’, was performed by hundreds of actors against the peaceful backdrop of the Wintershall grounds. We watched the story unfold across three captivating acts and we really felt that it deepened our understanding of Christianity.
Jesus and his disciples fed us real bread (‘Jesus feeds the 5000’ Matthew 14) and we were even selected to join the crowd on stage when Jesus was in front of Pontias Pilate.
Thank you so much to the SVPA for funding this wonderful trip for us and to the parents who came with us.
We really enjoyed this unforgettable experience!
Yes indeed it was fabulous. We just had to watch and enjoy it while there was a whole show performed before our eyes. It was interactive and showed us Jesus’s life explaning it all in a fun way. Thank you for the hundreds of people who performed this great out-door show for us to come and watch.
