Well we’ve been having lots of fun at Sayers Croft!
Last night we took part in a reflective night walk where we had to find our way around the woods when it was dark. It was fun to sit quietly and listen to all the different sounds – it’s very different to London!
The thunder and lightning didn’t keep us up too much last night and all managed to get some sleep.
This morning we’re had delicious pancakes for breakfast to set us up for our busy morning! We started with shelter building where we worked in teams to build a shelter to withstand an earthquake and heavy rain. Thankfully it was just rain from a watering can!
Our next trip was a fun forest adventure where we adventured through the Sayers Croft extended wood and learnt about the different plants that grow there.
We’re just back from lunch now and getting ready for our stream walk. So far the rain has held off so we’re hoping that it stays that way!
This looks fun! (Indigo)
Well done everyone – such exciting adventures in beautiful surroundings. Thank you for the photos.
Looks like lots of fun! I’d love to do a night walk.
Your shelter building skills are impressive!!
Looking forward to the next update.
Fantastic shelters Year 6. I’m jealous of the pancakes for breakfast!
