We were all in for a lovely surprise yesterday when the school council of St Vincent de Paul came to visit our school and talk to our school council. They were accompanied by headteacher Mr Scott-Cree who used to be our Deputy Head! All the children were excited to see Mr Scott-Cree but it wasn’t long before we got down to the important business of running the school. Our Year 6 school council representatives took the visiting children on a tour of the school before holding the larger than usual school council meeting. The children discussed different policies including our behaviour rainbow, which seemed to be very popular with St Vincent de Paul’s school council. Having discussed the differences between the schools our children were kindly presented with a ‘Miraculous Medal’ to wear. A delicious school lunch and playtime together finished off the successful and productive visit! Many thanks to St Vincent de Paul for visiting us and we look forward to paying a return visit in the future.
