Today, Year 6 and Year 5 were invited by Harry from MCC to Lords Cricket Ground as part of Mental Health and Well-being day.
We had a great time, having fun and playing lots of cricket which was very good for our well-being. We also got the chance to meet the professional cricketer Ethan Bamber who talked to us about how to stay positive even when there are setbacks. He also answered lots of our questions and signed autographs for us all.
Thank you to all of the parents who accompanied us and to MCC for welcoming us to Lords today.
Visiting Lords cricket ground was so much fun. I really enjoy the part we played cricket. We also met a cricket player called Ethan Bamber who talked about his wellbeing when playing cricket. And last but not least we played a short game when we had to run back and forth with out getting hit by a ball. We all got an autograph from ETHAN BAMBER!!!
Finally I had a lot of fun but also I wish we can go there again till the end of the year .
We all thank all the staff who volunteered to help us today and Harry ( who coaches us from MCC ). But the thing is that we should know is that year 5 and year 6 had an amazing time.
Visiting Lords cricket ground was brilliant and fun.
We did cricket which I enjoyed with coach Harry and we even got the chance to meet a professional cricketer Ethan Bamber and got autographs for him which I am going to keep.
I loved going to Lord’s cricket ground and I am happy that I got the chance to go there for wellbeing and mental health day.
Thank you for giving all of us the chance to go to Lord’s cricket ground and experience cricket and meet a professional cricketer.
