Year three thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the Wallace Collection yesterday. They took part in a creative writing workshop where they were able to get inspired about their choice of words and use their imagination to explore different ideas.
The children had the opportunity to explore the magnificent treasure house with a published children’s author. They were able to discuss grand paintings and objects and using their author’s notebooks, they wrote some short pieces to enhance their vocabulary and descriptive powers.
We look forward to expanding on what we learnt at the Wallace Collection back in school!
