Today some of our Year 3 pupils helped Scholastic Books to launch a new picture book by comedian Tim Minchin (he wrote the songs for the Matilda musical). The book, When I Grow Up, is based on the hit song from Matilda the Musical and is all about the joys of childhood and the possibilities of growing up. A window display was created in Waterstones, Piccadilly, based on the illustrations in the book and this was brought to life by our children. Can you spot them in the window? Each child received a signed copy of the book and met the author and illustrator. What an exciting day! We really do love reading!
