Members of Green Team and School Council from Years 4, 5 and 6 were invited to a special concert at Wembley Arena, organised by the We Act charity. The WE day concert is a celebration of young people and their ability and determination to change the world. We had a wonderful day, listening to inspirational speakers such as The Duke of Sussex, Iskra Lawrence, Nicole Scherzinger, Nikki Christou, Isabelle Weall and Connor Franta. We were also lucky enough to see Pixie Lott, Jack & Jack, Liam Payne and Tom Walker performing.
They spoke about the importance of believing in ourselves and realising that all our differences make us who we are. They reminded us to use our voice to stand up for what we believe in, and join others to support them too. Many people also spoke on the importance of our mental health and that we should always be there to talk to our friends to make sure they are okay. Everyone was there because we want to make a change in the world, and we need to ‘get going’ to make that happen.
