Year 1 had an amazing time on Wear It Wild Day! The children looked fantastic in their animal-themed outfits, and it was wonderful to see how excited they were to share their favourite animals with their classmates.
We were lucky enough to watch the Green Team’s assembly, where we learnt all about WWF and the important work they do to protect animals around the world. The children were fascinated to hear how they can help make a difference for wildlife.
In class, we had a blast with an animal-themed quiz and a fun freeze-frame game, where we posed as different animals! Can you guess any of the animals from our pictures? It was great to see the creativity and energy from all the children.
In the afternoon, the children enjoyed drawing animals from all around the world. They used oil pastels to colour their drawings and tissue paper to create beautiful backgrounds. The results were fantastic, and the children took great pride in their artwork.
What a fun and educational day it was, supporting animals from across the globe!
