We have had a wonderful first week so far in Reception! It has been lovely welcoming everyone into the Reception class this week and meeting some new friends.
We have been working together in class to think about how we can make our classroom a happy place to learn. We learnt that we are a Rights Respecting School and talked about lots of the rights we have. We want our class room to be a happy and caring place.
We made some class rules together and talked about how important it is to follow these rules.
We acted out our class rules to make sure we understood what they mean…

I love Reception and playing with my friends. We play nicely and we are gentle. We are learning from our teachers. It’s really fun.
Reception looks like they had a lot of fun. I hope this fun and laughter continues during the year.
Playing, learning and spending time with friends is an amazing way to spend your time in Reception.
