We have had a wonderful start to the year in Class 3! The children have all settled back into school very quickly!
We have had lots of fun getting to know each other and sharing what we did over the summer holidays.
As we are a rights respecting school, this week we looked at the UN Convention on The Rights of the Child. We discussed a few of them and selected rights that relate to our school setting.
From these, we agreed upon things that both the children and adults can do at school to ensure these rights are respected for all. I was so impressed but the thoughtful contributions in our class.
The children have returned to school with a kind and enthusiastic attitude, I am looking forward to the year ahead!
