Last weekend, in preparation for our Royal Connection Tour on Saturday 12th March, the Wallace Collection arranged a very special tour for the Young Curators at Windsor Castle. We were privileged to be able to have our own tour guide and we know that the Queen was in residence because the Royal Standard, which is a flag, was flying. We did not get to see the Queen but we discovered a royal connection to the Wallace Collection. One of Henry VIII wives, Jane Seymour was related to Francis Seymour-Conway the 1st Marques of Hertford.
