In Class One we were very excited to dress up for World Book Day. We enjoyed guessing which book characters everyone was dressed up as.
Throughout the morning we moved around the school to complete different activities based on the book The Pirates Next Door. We created a rhyming pirate song together, decided what we would take on a desert island and made our own treasure chest filled with the items that are most precious to us.
In the afternoon we enjoyed books with our loved ones, friends and teachers. We had such a great day celebrating books together and cannot wait for next year!
