We have had great fun in Nursery today celebrating World Book Day 2022!
We started our day with a whole school assembly. We loved the parade where we got to show everyone all of our costumes. We then had some singing time with Mr Rees and he taught us a new song about the Gruffalo!
Later on in the morning, we enjoyed joint activities with Reception based on our two books; ‘Room on the Broom’ and ‘Zog’ from our Julia Donaldson theme. We made broomsticks with all of the characters from Room on the Broom and we made our own magic wands just like the witches! Some of us made Zog badges too!
In the afternoon we enjoyed some story time and read some books that made us smile! Some of our parents joined us for some reading together too!
