We loved World Book Day!
We started the day going to the assembly where we could see everyone’s amazing costumes. It was fun trying to work out who everyone was and which books they came from. Then, for the rest of the morning, we did some work based on Treasure Island. We wrote our own kenning poems with Miss Carruthers, used pirate language to write a play script with Ms Hackett, and then wrote descriptive instructions with Miss Kaur to find some treasure.
To end the day, we welcomed many parents into our classroom to read with us.
