During the last week of term, Class 6 invited our families to come and find out more about our wonderful World War 2 project. We worked in groups to plan, organise, write and rehearse our own presentations on different aspects of World War 2. Our parents enjoyed some delicious food baked from World War 2 recipes and watched interesting presentations on:
*Evacuation
*Life on the Home Front
*Life on the BattleFront
*Life in Germany during the war.
Sharing what we have learnt with our parents not only allowed us to show off our excellent historical knowledge of this period, but also helped us to develop our resourcefulness, organisation and communication skills. Everyone had a great time and the only disappointment was that our Rationed chocolate cake was not quite as yummy as when we tried it out earlier on in the term!
