To continue with our learning about Space during Science Week, KS1 decided to do an investigation. They were trying to see which type of space rocket (paper aeroplane) would fly the furthest and make it into space.
We had to make our rockets, and then predict how far it would go. Then, we went on the roof to throw them, using metre sticks to measure how far they went. We made sure it was fair by having everyone stand behind the yellow line when they were throwing. Once we came back to class, we put in our results and then thought about what we could change about or rocket so that next time, it makes it to space!
