Book Week has been so much fun!
Here are some photos of our costumes. Can you guess which characters we are?
We have been reading James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl. We held, touched, smelt and ate real peaches and then described what the Peach in the story was like (photos below).
On Book Day, some children from our class stood up in front of the whole school and read their descriptive writing of Aunt Spiker and Aunt Sponge from the book. They did a great job!
In the afternoon, the parents came to read books with the children. Thank you to all the mummies and daddies for helping us to prepare our costumes and for visiting our classroom on Book Day!
