During this afternoon we did lots of exciting activities based on the Great Fire of London. We used our origami skills that the Pupil Chaplains are teaching us as lunchtime, to make origami boats like the ones the Londoners would have used to escape from the fire on. We also made Tudor style houses which had lots of wood and designed our own St Paul’s Cathedral after the old one burnt down. The King gave out gifts to people to say thank you for fighting the fire, and so we designed our own tankards to give out as presents. Our last activity was making bread, just like the baker did on Pudding Lane, except we made sure we turned the oven off!
Thank you to all the parents who came in to help us!
