We have had a magical few weeks in Year 2 during the lead up to the Christmas break! The highlight of our celebrations was, of course, the Nativity performance. The children did an incredible job bringing the Christmas story to life. It was such a joy to see their hard work pay off, and I’m so proud of their confidence and enthusiasm!
We also had a blast celebrating Christmas Jumper Day, where everyone looked fantastic in their festive jumpers. The room was filled with Christmas cheer, and it was a great way to start the season.
In between all the Nativity rehearsals, the children got busy with Christmas-themed art projects.
We also enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch, where the children shared a meal and lots of laughter together.
To top it all off, we got to see a fantastic Christmas pantomime. The children loved the colourful costumes, the fun performances, and all the holiday excitement that came with it.
It’s been a truly wonderful lead-up to Christmas, and I’m so grateful for the joy and hard work the children brought to this special time of year.
