Today, Year 2 visited the Cartoon Museum, near Tottenham Court Road. In the museum, are pieces of artwork from different comics ranging from this year to over 80 years old!
We had a drawing lesson from a cartoon artist, who let us design our own superhero and then taught us how to draw them as cartoons in a fighting pose. In the gallery, we did a treasure hunt to look at the comic artworks and then were able to read some of the comics they had!
There was a competition during the treasure hunt, and the winner’s prize was a cartoon of them drawn by the artist himself!
We had a great time looking at different comics and learning how to make our superhero drawings even better!
