This week, our students embarked on an exciting journey through the world of 3D shapes! They learned about the various types of 3D geometric forms, such as spheres, cubes, cones, and pyramids, and explored how to identify and create these shapes using different materials. From building models out of clay and lollipop sticks to grouping shapes, the hands-on activities allowed students to gain a deeper understanding of space, symmetry, and dimensions. The lessons sparked creativity and problem-solving skills, helping students see the world around them in a whole new way.

But the surprises didn’t stop there! We had an incredible opportunity to participate in a workshop with the National Portrait Gallery. Students were guided through the process of observing, analyzing, and creating portraits inspired by their peers and the gallery’s extensive collection. The session was interactive and fun, offering a unique chance to engage with the art world from a professional institution.

It’s been an inspiring week filled with creativity, learning, and artistic exploration.

Have a lovely weekend.
