What an exciting day we had in Year 2 for World Book Day! Everyone arrived in the most fantastic costumes, dressed as their favorite book characters. We had wizards, princesses, superheroes, and everything in between! It was wonderful to see so much creativity and enthusiasm for books.
We started the day by sharing our favorite stories, talking about why we love them and which characters make us smile. It was great to hear everyone’s ideas and see how much we all enjoy reading!
Throughout the day, we had some very special visitors—other teachers came to read to us, even some of our parents! We loved listening to new stories and hearing them read in different ways. It made us even more excited about discovering new books.
World Book Day was a brilliant way to celebrate our love of reading, and we can’t wait to dive into even more books.
