Egyptian Sunset Paintings
This week, Year 3 have been creating their own Egyptian sunset paintings. We looked at different examples to get ideas for our own. Then, we spent time mixing colours to create the perfect sunset background. We found we had to blend red and yellow together, adding more yellow as we went.
While they dried, we used black paper to create different Egyptian silhouettes. We had to make sure we cut them out carefully so they were clear in our pictures.
