Class 5 were kindly invited to St. Georges R.C. Secondary School to participate in a Science Day, on Thursday 10th January. This was another great opportunity for the children to experience first-hand what Science in Secondary School is like.
The day included working in a Science laboratory carrying out practical investigations focusing on last term’s topic, Forces. The children had a great chance to apply their learning in a practical way, to explain their activities and ideas using appropriate science vocabulary and to generally show off their knowledge and understanding of this topic.
A great time was enjoyed by all.
