Year 5 have been busy organising historical information in order to find out where the Anglo-Saxons settled and what they named the places they settled in. We used maps of the United Kingdom and especially London to see where they settled.
By explaining some of the place names and establishing their meanings, it has helped us to understand how the Anglo-Saxons have influenced Britain.
