Last Thursday, Year 6 took part in an Art Week Workshop led by Kirsten, who is one of our school parents and also a fantastic artist. She taught us the new skill of lino printing, which involved cutting out a design on a lino tile then using printing ink and rollers to create coloured designs. Our theme was London, so we created many imaginative designs inspired by famous London landmarks and ideas. From London buses to Underground signs, rainy days to cups of tea, pigeons to falling leaves, we tried to sum up everything that we love about our city. Thank you to Kirsten for a great afternoon!
