Today in Class One we enjoyed being geographers! We were all very excited to use an atlas and look at all of the different maps. We talked about why there is a compass on each page and sang a song to help us remember north, south, east and west.
Our next challenge was to find the oceans and seas that surround the United Kingdom and label them on our own map. We found this great fun and decided an atlas is a very useful book!
