Takeover Day is a celebration of children and young people’s contributions to museums, galleries, arts organisations, archives and heritage sites. It’s a day on which they are given meaningful roles, working alongside staff and volunteers to participate in the life of the museum.
As part of our ‘Takeover’ of the Wallace Collection, the Young Curators led an impressive tour to share some of their ‘favourite things’ from the collection with members of the public. Thank you to Mrs Gardner Sharp for her support. Once again the Young Curators were excellent public speakers: clear, informative and entertaining. Well done to all the Young Curators, especially our new Year 4 curators who were participating in their first tour. You were all fantastic!
