The Wallace Collection Young Curators meet most weeks to prepare for their next family tour and they always try to ensure that each one is different. Last week a curator and conservator came to meet with us and took one of the objects out of its case for us to study in detail:
“It’s a cup, we think in the shape of a grape picker, but we are not sure how to drink out of it! The head comes off and the grapes can come off.”
“It was a very informative session and we feel very privileged to be able to find out these fascinating objects!”
