This morning Class Three had a very interesting workshop led by Mark where the children had the opportunity to discuss the new HS2 high speed railway and learnt about how they could play a part in this in the future.
The children had the opportunity to try out different challenges where they could build on science, technology, engineering and maths skills. These challenges gave the children an idea of the type of work involved in working with railway structures.
Class three showed excellent team work and problem solving skills and loved attempting all of the challenges even though they were quite tricky!
Thanks to Mark from Zoom Rail for leading the session.
