Today Nursery and Reception visited Willows Farm in St Albans. We had a brilliant day at the farm!
Once we arrived, we went to feed the goats and sheep outside. They were very hungry and enjoyed eating all of the food we gave them. Some of us were brave enough to hold out our hand to feed them!
After that, we went to meet Lily and Peter the rabbit and see them perform in a show! We enjoyed some singing and dancing in the sunshine!
We then went to see the milking of a cow. It was so interesting to see how the cows are milked and what foods the milk can make!
We were very excited for our tractor tour of the farm where we got to see more of the animals including pigs and cows. Our favourite part was when we went through the giant muddy puddle!
After a tasty lunch and a cool down, we went to see more farm animals in the farmyard. We were very excited to see the guinea pigs and hold them! They were very cute! We also fed lots of other animals in the barn including cows, goats, lambs and donkeys, they were very hungry!
We had a lovely day together!

Thank you teachers for planning to go to Willows Farm. I loved feeding all of the animals. It was so much fun doing all of the activities, even having our lunch. I liked going on the tracker and seeing the big pig lying in the mud. The cow was in the big puddle and had to move out of the way for the tracker. 🐖🐄🐏🐐🫏😎🌞
My favourite part of Willows Farm was everything, especially putting the guinea pigs on our laps. I wanted to take the guinea pigs but we weren’t allowed. And I also loved feeding all the animals and when it was time for the Peter Rabbit show I LOVVVVVEDDD IT!!!! And that was my FAVVVVOURITE part! And I enjoyed it VEEEEEEEERYYYY much!. I loved when we went on the farm and I loved when we could have the guinea pigs on our laps and I loved when we could let the animals eat the food that we had on our hands and I loved when the animals licked my hands and tickled me. I loved seeing Peter Rabbit show and liked at the end when Lily Popped tail said hi to us. I loved it so much that I did not want to go away! 🙂
I had so much fun. I fed the goats and they licked my hand which tickled. It was so much fun. I loved the baby rabbits. The sheep also sneeezed on me.
