Advent in the Nursery

We are very busy in the Nursery, getting ready for Jesus’ birthday at Christmas.

We have been singing lots of songs for our  part in the Foundation Stage Nativity Assembly.

We have been putting up decorations and dressing up in Christmas clothes.

We have been retelling the story of Jesus’ birth using the Nativity set and reading lots of Nativity books.

Today, we made beautiful angels and thought about what our angel would say to the shepherds. We all agreed that they would say, “We have come to bring you good news.” We know this because this is in one of the Christmas songs that we have learnt.

We made Advent promises to help others during Advent.
