After a MUCH better night’s sleep, we all woke up with lots of energy, ready for another day at Sayers Croft.

We went to breakfast for another tasty meal of bacon and eggs. Next we had the very special task of opening our letters from home. It was so lovely to hear from our families and to write back to them to tell them about all the fun we’ve been having here. We’ll post the letters when we go to Ewhurst tomorrow and hopefully they’ll make it to our parents before we do!

Then it was off to our activities! Again, we had two challenging tasks to complete and really had to work together to complete them well.

Our first was the rafting. We had to work in pairs to create a stable raft and sail it around the water. Most of us were successful and only a few of us fell in! Our next task was the challenge course. This is where we work as a whole team to get through an obstacle course. The challenge for the teachers is that they are not allowed to give us any help or clues! After a few mistakes, we worked out what to do and managed to complete it.

We’re off to lunch now and excited for our afternoon of even more activities!

I’m jealous! I’d like bacon and eggs every morning! It clearly gives them the energy they need to overcome these obstacles.
