Today we had our music lesson with Mr Hylton!
Our lesson was after we all sat brilliantly duiring our whole school mass, so we started by moving our bodies to lots of fun music! Nursery were able to follow the instructions of the movement songs so well!
Then Nursery were so lucky to be given lots of different drums from the instrument cupboard! The children all enjoyed playing the drums together in small groups and exploring the different drums with their friends.
Mr Hylton played alongside Nursery, and showed them how to play the drums in different ways. Not only can the drums be played quickly and slowly, but lightly and loudly too! The children practiced hitting the drums loud and heavy like large elephant footsteps, and then light and quickly like little mouse footsteps! What a fun music lesson, well done Nursery!
