Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Marian Procession this afternoon, and provided beautiful plants and flowers for the special service.
Our Pupil Chaplaincy Team led us in a wonderful celebration of our mother Mary as we walked through the streets of Marylebone, singing hymns as a whole school. The children processed with their peers, holding hands with a member of another year group as we walked to the beautiful St. James’ Church.
Father Philip began the service, blessing us and giving a speech explaining why the school was gathering together to adorn Mary, in the month of May where we remember and thank her.
The Pupil Chaplaincy Team continued the service through song and prayer. They did an amazing job and were excellent representatives of our school.
We were lucky to witness a beautiful Liturgical Dance, performed by members of Class 1 and Class 5, and we thank Miss Drury for organising such a lovely performance.
Chamber Choir ended the service with an amazing rendition of Ave Maria, thank you to Miss Siswick for organising this wonderful song, and a big thank you to Mr Hylton for all of the lovely accompaniment.
It was a very peaceful end of term, and we thank everyone for their help, support and contribution which enabled such a special Marian Procession. We are so excited to watch the plants we offered to Mary continue to grow and remind us of her.
