COOPERATION
This week in PE we focused on cooperation. We spent our session playing a game of volcanoes and craters. We were split into two different teams and placed on opposite sides of the pitch. There were cones everywhere. Some cones were volcanoes (faced upright) and some were craters (upside down). Each team had 2 minutes to flip as many cones as they could. We made sure to practice the skill of cooperation throughout by working as a team to achieve our goal.
We played different variations of the game as well. We tried to flip all the cones while jumping on one foot! We even pretended we were all our favourite animal at one point. We had to move AND sound like the animal. We had such a blast. What another fantastic week in Year 3!
This looks like great fun. Super cooperation skills.
It was so fun and we got to use our running skills for exercise and my legs were hurting after that I’m thinking that’s a good thing because it might mean it was a good exercise
I loved it! Getting to have a little excerise and a little bit of fresh air was just the thing I needed!
