In their final session today, the children in both of the Performing Arts Club groups put on a performance for their families. Well done to everyone who performed today.
The theme was ‘Annie the Musical’ and the children performed a range of amazing songs, dances and sketches from the show.
The audience were so impressed with how well the children had learned their dances and words, with their enthusiasm and with how accomplished their dancing, singing and acting is.
Maddie from ‘Toucan Roar’, who teaches the club, always says what very talented children we have at St. Vincent’s and we all got the chance to see this for ourselves today.
Unfortunately, today was the fabulous Maddie’s final session at St Vincent’s, due to her university commitments, and we are very sad to see her go.
Performing Arts Club will continue in September with a new teacher. See you there!
What an inspiration these magical children were for me as a teacher. Watching your growth over the last year has been a pleasure. In all three performance disciplines, you have drastically improved and I’m so proud of you. I’m sure I will see you all again and your new teacher will be wonderful.
