To enhance our learning all about our ‘Jungle’ topic in Reception, we had a visit from ZooLab!
Emily from ZooLab took us on an exciting adventure to the rainforest where we discovered lots of different creatures that live in this habitat!
We met a millipede, a tarantula, a stick insect, a frog, a snake and a rat!
We learnt lots of new facts about the different creatures to develop our knowledge about living things that live in the jungle!
We asked some really interesting questions and were very sensible when holding the different creatures.
A special thanks to ZooLab for such a wonderful experience today!
Today was an exciting day! Frog on the wall was my favourite part. I also liked holding the snake she was amazingly well behaved and didn’t bite me.
Thanks Emily for giving us this amazing opportunity.
My favourite insect was the stick insect because when I held it, it tickled my hand! Thank you to all the members of zoolab and teachers for giving us the opportunity to do this.
Isabelle loved seeing all the creatures. She says: “My favourite one was the snake because it was squishy. I loved seeing ZooLab because it was such a good fun”.
My favourite animal was the snake. I liked it because it was so squishy. I also liked the stick insect because he tickled me when he was in my hand.
